This policy is a working draft prepared from how the site actually operates. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have counsel review it before you rely on it.
1. Information we collect
We collect two kinds of information.
Information you give us
When you complete the application form on this site, we collect the answers you provide. That includes your name, business email, company name, website, social handle, industry, revenue range, team size, how your marketing is currently run, the challenges you describe, your timeline, how decisions get made in your business, and anything else you choose to write in the open questions.
You choose what to submit. Every answer marked required has to be filled in for the form to send, but you are never obliged to apply.
We also record which channel brought you to the site, for example a link from LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, or Threads, along with the first page you landed on. This is submitted with your application so we know where it came from. It is kept for the length of your visit only, unless you allow analytics, and it never identifies you by name.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site running and to understand traffic.
2. How we use your information
- To review your application and decide whether Archeva is a fit
- To reply to you, usually within 24 to 48 hours
- To send a scheduling link or a resource suited to your stage
- To keep a record of applicants so we can follow up appropriately
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To meet legal or accounting obligations where they apply
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you applied.
3. Cookies and your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks what this site is allowed to use. Nothing optional runs until you answer. You can accept everything, refuse everything, or pick category by category. Refusing takes one click, the same as accepting.
Your choice is stored in these groups:
- Essential. Serves pages, keeps your session, and keeps the application form working. Always on. The site cannot run without these.
- Functional. Remembers choices you make so you do not have to set them again.
- Analytics. Counts visits, which pages get read, and where people arrived from. We use it to see which pages are useful, not to identify you. This covers Wix Analytics.
- Advertising. Ad targeting. We do not run ads today.
- Third party tools. Lets embedded tools load and receive your data.
The video on the application page is hosted by Descript. It does not load until you allow third party tools, or press Load the video on that page. Once it loads, Descript can set its own cookies and see your device and connection details. That is controlled by Descript, not by us.
You can change your answer at any time. Select Cookie choices in the footer of any page. Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies, though blocking the essential ones may stop parts of this site from working.
4. Contact and application forms
The application form on this site submits directly to our own systems. Your answers are stored in a private collection that only an administrator can read, and a contact record is created so we can reply.
The form includes a hidden field used to filter automated submissions. It is never shown to you and collects nothing about you.
5. Third party services
We rely on a small number of providers to run this site:
- Wix hosts the site and provides the content management, contact, and analytics systems where your information is stored
- Descript hosts the video embedded on the application page
Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms. Fonts and images are served from this site directly, so no font or image provider receives your information.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Send you a copy of it
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop using it for a particular purpose
Write to arelis@arelisdesigns.store and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR in the UK and EU, or the CCPA in California, may give you additional rights. We apply the rights above regardless of where you are.
7. Data retention
We keep applications for as long as they are useful to an ongoing or possible working relationship, and for up to three years after your last contact with us. After that we delete them.
If we work together, records connected to that engagement are kept for as long as tax and contractual obligations require.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
